The story follow Solomon Cole, an over weight, loner blacksmith as he struggles to survive in a world where over 99% of the population has died. He bands together with the few other survivors in an attempt to survive in the new dead world. Where there is danger everywhere from other survivors too drinking from the wrong water supply. He must teach the others how to survive and protect each other. For there are other groups who not only was aware of this cataclysm but prepared for it and are now weeping their rewards.

VEGA SQUAD
A space opera about 5 sibling fighter pilots who are the best of the best, cream of the cream, the dogs b... you get my point, as they try to stem a flood of an overbearing enemy that though they lack similar technology they make up for in numbers who are intent of clearing every world they find that humans have made their home. The story starts when Keldon the second earth like planet the Earth Exploratory Institute had found in 2241. Its massive size approximately twice the size of Jupiter made it the most difficult but also most exciting colonization in human history.
The colonist had to go through months of gravitational augmentation just to survive on the planet surface. Keldon Prime quickly became the heart of Earths military operations, as their citizens had adopted a warrior lifestyle.
Seeing Keldon as the biggest threat the Enemy launch a surprise attack in 2561 with a force 10 times the size of the fleet that is station around Keldon for refit.
Keldon is lost and Camron, Gemma, Emily, Malcolm and Melanie Mendez, the 5 children of the war hero Colonel Vega Mendez are sent through the Corridor back to Earth moments before Keldon falls.
Now they are Vega Squad the most decorated, gifted, powerful and not so humble Void Warriors the Earth Defense Fleet, has ever seen, and possible Humanities only HOPE...
