He then went to work for Valley Forge where he worked with a number of skilled blacksmiths and fabricators to create bespoke ironwork that can be seen in many location in and around central London. After working there for a number of years Russell took a short break from the metal industry.

 

However May 2016 saw Russell establish his own forge where he now takes commissions of all aspects of metalwork as well as creating his own pieces to be shown in galleries and build up his portfolio of work.
